Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK), fingerprints and facial data are special-category personal data; using them for attendance carries heavy obligations and serious restrictions. Pepteam stays out of that argument: QR and location checks, no biometric data, ever.
KVKK approach, no biometrics
No biometrics at clock-in: QR codes and location checks. Location is checked only at the moment of recording — no all-day tracking.
Minimal-data principle
Employees join with an eight-digit invite code; not even a corporate e-mail is required. What's collected is limited to what the work needs.
